I am MOMOLITA, a doll fashion designer and sewing educator based in Japan, creating work under the theme of “Punky Quirky and Cute.”

Known for her distinctive aesthetic and precise sewing techniques for miniature garments, she has contributed to magazines, books, and doll-related products through costume design and production work.

She has also been teaching at culture schools for over 17 years, currently giving lessons to approximately 250 students each month across Japan.

Her classes cover patternmaking and sewing for more than 15 different doll body types, including Neo Blythe, Licca, Jenny, momoko, Obitsu, and Puerneemo, with a strong focus on creating beautiful silhouettes tailored to each doll’s unique proportions.

MOMOLITA’s original method, “JIKAPATA-PE Sewing®,” is a patented sewing technique in which the pattern is attached directly onto the fabric during cutting and sewing, allowing even very small garments to be made with exceptional precision and clean finishing.

In addition to workshops and events both in Japan and overseas, she is currently focusing on developing video tutorials and sewing kits based on the same content taught in her regular classes, making these techniques accessible for students to learn at home.

Her goal is not only to create cute designs, but also to share the joy of making and the satisfaction of achieving beautifully finished doll clothing.

  MOMOLITA（モモリータ）は、「Punky Quirky and Cute」をテーマに、国内外でお人形服のデザイン・制作・教育活動を行っています。

独自の世界観を持つドール衣装デザインと、小さな服を美しく仕上げるための精密な縫製技術を得意とし、これまで雑誌・書籍・ドール関連商品のデザインや制作に携わってきました。

　また、カルチャースクール講師として17年以上活動しており、現在は全国で毎月約250名の生徒へ向けてレッスンを行っています。

　授業では、Neo Blythe、Licca、Jenny、momoko、Obitsu、Puerneemoなど、15種類以上のドールサイズに対応したパターン・縫製指導を行っており、それぞれのボディバランスに合わせた、美しいシルエット作りを大切にしています。

　MOMOLITAオリジナルメソッド「直パタペーソーイング®」は、型紙を布に貼り付けたまま裁断・縫製を行うことで、小さなお人形服でも正確で美しい仕上がりを実現する
特許取得済みの縫製技術です。

　現在は、日本国内だけでなく海外でのワークショップやイベント参加も行いながら、
定期講座で行っている内容をベースに、ご自宅でも学べる動画教材やキット制作にも力を入れています。

“かわいい”だけではなく、「作る楽しさ」と「美しく仕上がる感動」を届けられる作品作りを目指しています。
